Job Description:

Our Wealth Change Management team reports into the Wealth National Office Strategy and Business Enablement team. Our team leads change management for Wealth Journeys (Direct Investing, Advice, TD Asset Management) to support delivery initiatives leading to exceptional client and colleague experiences. Our change practitioners lead the integration of multiple Partner groups, businesses, communications, and learning/training to deliver seamlessly against business strategy. The successful candidate will be a driven inspirational leader, comfortable in a complex, high-growth and fast-paced environment and able to navigate grey areas.

As a Change Manager, you will be part of a strong and connected enterprise-wide change management community where you'll feel inspired and challenged. As a leader in Wealth Change Management, you enable successful adoption of business changes through effective employment of change management methodology and practices.

*This role is focused on leading Change within the TD Wealth Next Evolution of Work Journey model*

Role Overview

We are looking for a talented writer and communicator with Change Management experience to join a team of change practitioners dedicated to supporting our Wealth Advice Journey. The successful candidate will work in partnership with Product Group Owners to drive successful adoption of change within priority Journey initiatives.

Key Accountabilities:

Team
  • Contribute to team development of skills and capabilities through mentorship of others, by sharing knowledge and experiences and leveraging best practices.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and development to change analysts on team and future change practitioners.
  • Work effectively as a team, supporting others in achieving business objectives
  • Contribute to a fair, positive and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce

Change Management Leadership:
  • Act as a brand ambassador for change management function, business and the bank, both internally and/or externally
  • Actively manage relationships within and across various business lines with a Pan Wealth focus
  • Influence and gain alignment across stakeholders, this includes understanding the overall business strategy and change saturation within the impacted line of business
  • Provide recommendations and direction based on the end-to-end colleague & client experience when making decisions
  • Work closely with colleagues and leaders to drive engagement and amplification across the Bank of key messages and strategic priorities.
  • Develop engaging communications to inform and prepare colleagues for change, instilling confidence in our vision and strategy.
  • Understand and opine on sequencing of change / comms tactics plans based on best practice experience
  • Own and deliver tactics to progress team annual strategic priorities, developing leadership brand

Delivery Execution Framework (Next Evolution of Work)
  • Enabler and thought leader to Product Group Owners & Product Owners
  • Provide advice and guidance on which components of TD's change methodology and framework should be in scope to align with Journey goals
  • Communicate difficult concepts, convert information to compelling business context and advice
  • Maintain Journey Change Strategy, updating quarterly
  • Own change management deliverables to meet the needs of the customer, employee, and business and drive successful adoption of change
    • Assess and ensure that experience / stakeholder impacts are understood and managed;
    • Engage appropriate stakeholders to identify and manage required outcomes
    • Create change plans and activities that drive adoption of change
    • Build a change network, provide on-going communication to key stakeholders & leaders
    • Anticipate and mitigate challenges, lead efforts or partner with others to escalate and mitigate risks to delivery
  • Impact the achievement of Journey OKRs for scoped work
  • Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for business area.
  • Actively participate in Product Group level ceremonies, providing updates on features that have a change practitioner assigned
  • Act as a delegate for Product Family Change Manager, participating in Product Family level ceremonies as required
  • Design and gain agreement on key change management KPIs

Job Requirements:
  • High emotional intelligence coupled with system thinking, connecting dots, and learning quickly to effectively influence cross-functionally across teams.
  • A seasoned professional communicator with exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Experience supporting and driving complex people and technology change.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex projects and lead with impact
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to negotiate and influence
  • High degree of curiosity, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment and prioritize competing priorities
  • Undergraduate degree and/or 7+ yrs. Equivalent Work Experience in a large organization
  • Change Management certifications or Consulting experience in Change Management
  • Wealth Management Experience and/or an understanding of the Wealth Advice business would be considered an asset.
