Environmental Facilitator

Meadow Lake, Sask.

Tolko Meadow Lake Division is seeking an Environmental Facilitator who is interested in developing and maintaining environmental programs to meet the obligations of federal and provincial environmental regulations, Tolko policies, and other related standards and codes of practice.

The Environmental Facilitator will be responsible for organizing and completing activities related to the collection, assessment, and reporting of site’s environmental data. The successful candidate will provide guidance and develop employee education on environmental standards and regulatory requirements.

  • A degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related discipline
  • Work experience at an industrial facility will be an asset
  • Ability to interpret environmental regulations, guidelines, and standards
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a desire to learn and innovate
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision, as well as part of a team to successfully achieve strategic goals
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate activities with others
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, particularly technical writing
  • Proficient use of various office-based software
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a desire to learn and innovate
