Job Description and Responsibilities

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will perform all facets of Inside Sales duties and act as support for Outside Sales by developing new leads and building relationships with customers to enable EVRAZ to secure the greatest volume of profitable sales
  • Discussing future needs with customers to build forecasts
  • Claims Management
  • Slab order management for Portland site including order entry, creating new product codes, managing dispositions, and costing with Finance team for non-standard items
  • Working with Planning team to manage plate slab inventory to balance cutting needs with customer needs
  • Managing inventory from slab to finished forms (slab/coil/plate)


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field or commensurate experience
  • 3 to 5 years of business to business (B2B) sales experience, preferably metals related
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to deal with opposing opinions and effect compromise
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to work independently with moderate supervision
  • A well-organized self-starter, capable of effectively budgeting time to meet priorities
  • Time management skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task, while maintaining accuracy and functionality
  • Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to travel on occasion, as required
  • Willing to work extended hours to meet objectives
  • Must have a professional appearance
