Position Overview: IT Team Lead - System Administrator L3 will be responsible for the Company’s airport day to day IT support activities at Regina International Airport in meeting its contractual commitments as defined in the Statement of Work. Lead a team of technicians in delivering a contract complaint and customer satisfying solution to onsite technology support systems. The typical work week will be Monday to Friday 8AM - 5:00PM but you will be expected to work additional hours to accomplish your tasks, including on-call or by covering shifts of team members either on scheduled vacation or for any absences.

Minimum Qualifications: General

5+ years IT Service Delivery experience with the following items:

  • Experience in leading and coaching staff for success.
  • Experience in staff performance management.
  • Successful customer contract compliance with attention to detail.
  • Windows Servers, certifications advantageous.
  • CISCO Firewalls, certifications advantageous.
  • Linux Servers, certifications advantageous.
  • Virtual Server Technology.
  • Storage Appliances, Resource Mgmt., Patch Mgmt.
  • Windows Backup and Recovery Technology.
  • Knowledge of relevant applications such as MS Exchange, Active Directory, MS Office Suite.
  • Proven experience with LAN/WAN equipment and networks.
  • Enterprise Antivirus management, infection management, Cyber security intrusion detection.
  • Experience of all above within site-based customer service environment.
  • Demonstrated focus on customer service.
  • Experience in leading staff and maintenance of staff records (vacation time, sickness absence, etc.).
  • VOIP System Administration.
  • Access Control and CCTV Systems.
  • Strong problem resolution skill-set.
  • Experience of all above within site-based customer service environment.

 Minimum Qualifications: Soft Skills

  • Proven and strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Team player and collaborative.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks on time.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Keen attention to details.

 Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certifications

  • Successful customer contract compliance, meeting SLA’s.
  • Working experience with a Windows server environment.
  • Working experience with PC Components including desktops, printers, scanners, monitors, switches, and servers.
  • Experience with Level 3 Network troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong problem resolution skill-set.
  • Experience of all above within site-based customer service environment.
  • Friendly and customer service oriented approach.
  • Certifications that are advantageous: A+, N+, Server+, CCNA, Microsoft, Linux.

Minimum Qualifications: Physical

  • Independent mobility throughout work locations, and ability to move unaided from one working level to another, ability to access, unaided, all installed equipment locations, including working at height, when required.
  • Ability to stand / walk unaided for an 8 hour shift.
  • Ability to negotiate security checkpoints and screening x/ray access points without assistance.
  • Visual acuity - ability to interpret and operate customer-owned computer screens and read/write relevant documentation, without the need for special accommodation (large print, Braille, voice assisted computer system, or dictation equipment).
  • Ability to carry tools, test equipment and replacement equipment (up to 50 lbs.), independently and unaided.
  • Ability to drive standard vehicles without any requirement for modified controls.
