What – the Role:
Reporting to a Director of Finance, this Manager will lead strategic initiatives, AI enablement projects, and finance operations improvements. You’ll partner with teams across Finance, Product, GTM, and Operations to drive transformation and modernize organizational processes. Key responsibilities include:

• Lead strategic initiatives from problem definition to solution, leveraging data and financial insights to support recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to implement AI and automation for improved planning, forecasting, reporting, and operational decision-making.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to remove blockers, streamline processes, and drive initiatives forward.
• Support leadership with scenario modeling, business cases, and decision-making frameworks.
• Integrate insights from business operations and SaaS metrics to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate on transformation initiatives, including implementing new systems, processes, or tools to reduce manual work.
• Mentor and manage a small team (1–2 direct reports), providing guidance on strategy and execution.

Who – the Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of finance, strategy, and SaaS experience, demonstrating:

• 5–10+ years in strategy, finance operations, consulting, or analytics roles, ideally within a SaaS/tech environment.
• Strong understanding of SaaS business models and key metrics.
• Experience in strategy consulting or transformation roles, with the ability to define problems, analyze data, and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Hands-on experience with financial modeling, analytics, or scenario planning.
• Curiosity and experience with AI tools, automation, or workflow improvement.
• Ability to manage cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders without formal authority.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex concepts to senior leaders.

How Much:
Highly competitive compensation, depending on experience:

• Base: $132,900 – $166,100 USD (US, excluding Bay Area & NYC)
• Base: $144,000 – $180,000 USD (US, Bay Area & NYC)
• Equity/Stock: $56,000 – $84,000 USD (4-year vesting, 1-year cliff)
