You will be the People and Development Specialist for 7 McDonald's locations in Saskatchewan. You will act as a People Advisor to the Franchisee Owner, Supervisor, and General Managers of all the restaurants. You will be of providing people and HR support to large number of employees. Some duties include:
  • Recruitment and Selection for the market. You will take on the full cycle recruitmentprocess from advertising, screening and hiring candidates from the crew level ranks to the management ranks for the restaurants.
  • Handle employee relations issues and investigate misconduct and employee issues
  • Accountable for the onboarding and development planning of management
  • Accountable for the people programs including Exit Interviews, Smart Recruitersprogram, Crew Communication Sessions,
  • Help create a work environment where employees love what they do, and aremotivated to stay and grow with the company.
  • Educator to employees: Providing valuable knowledge to staff with regards to labourlaws, security and safety procedures, as well as be role models of our company values.
  • To recognize and reward employees who go above and beyond, and to provide supportand development for those who need further motivation.
  • To be at the forefront of HR practices. To stay curious, and consume all that isinspiring,relevant and great in the world of employee.
  • Handling CIC employer paperwork requests and submissions


  • Diploma or education related to human resources management
  • 2 + years' work experience in a human resources capacity
  • Previous experience in McDonalds management preferably as General Manager will be an assest
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to drive and travel within Saskatchewan
  • Experience working with the Applicant Tracking System, Smart Recruiters would beconsidered an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power Point)
  • Handling CIC employer paperwork requests and submissions
  • Initiative, Ownership, Creativity and Passion
