As a member of the Operations Team, this role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production of OSB; including supervision of the production team, training and development of team members, exercising proper safety procedures and ensuring the team is adhering to all safety policies and procedures as well as obtaining acceptable quality standards and maintaining the goals of Meadow Lake OSB Division.Qualifications:
- Experience working in a 24/7 manufacturing operation, preferably in the OSB industry;
- Excellent knowledge pertaining to industry related safety programs;
- Troubleshooting skills;
- Supervisory experience in an industrial production environment
- Previous experience in employee training, safety, writing and implementation of safe work procedures
- Communication and motivational skills are essential
