We are an energized team responsible for bringing the whole bank to the community, engaging authentically and uniquely delivering exceptional products and services for customers within TD.

Job Description:

The Business Development Manager 2SLGBTQ+ - Two Spirited, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Transgender, Queer will be charged with leveraging TD's strong position in the 2SLGBTQ+ community to identify and win business opportunities across One TD (including but not limited to Retail, Wealth, and Business Banking). Deepening customer relationships and acquiring new to bank business in this segment will require the incumbent to build and leverage internal and external networks as well as manage the market via involvement in the community.

The Business Development Manager - 2SLGBTQ+ is a proven business model generating strong results in markets where we have a presence.

• Responsible to develop and execute the 2SLGBTQ+ business strategy within the region across all identified business lines

• Accountable for the growth of the 2SLGBTQ+ business portfolio through defined business goals

• Responsible for growing a referral program through sales strategies & community initiatives specific to the 2SLGBTQ+ community across all identified business lines within the bank

• Increase knowledge and awareness of 2SLGBTQ+ business opportunities within lines of business - Commercial Banking, Small Business Banking, Retail & Wealth

• Share knowledge and provide sales support to internal partners to assist with growing the 2SLGBTQ+ banking portfolio

• Increase presence and awareness of TD's 2SLGBTQ+ focus within the marketplace, developing & maintaining key relationships with Centers of Influence within the market.

• Lead and model a superior customer and employee experience at every interaction

• Work with multiple Business Partners across the organization including Marketing, Community Relations, Corporate HR, Diversity Equity, Equity and Inclusion and other Partners

Job Requirements

• Knowledge and experience across many business lines including Business Banking, Retail, & Wealth

• Deep Understanding and Knowledge of the 2SLGBTQ+ community

• Understanding of, and ability to make an impact within the 2SLGBTQ+ community

• Strong personal brand and network within the 2SLGBTQ+ community

• Experience and demonstrated ability in sales and relationship management

• Strong strategic focus and ability to execute with multiple stakeholders

• Results oriented with excellent interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal), impact and influence skills to have impact with multiple stakeholders across multiple business lines

• Must be a highly motivated self-starter and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Strong communications and presentation skills to deliver varied content across internal & external partners and customers. Leverage Social Media (Linked-In and Instagram) to build business

Travel is required within the Prairies.
