Job Description and Responsibilities
  • Operate hot strip 2hi and 4hi mill in rolling mill
  • Shift supervisor duties including payroll submissions, ensuring all safety and quality procedures are being followed, general employee supervision
  • Assist in maintaining equipment
  • Follow all rolling practices and procedures to ensure highest quality product
  • Comply with all safety rules and procedures
  • Conduct safety meetings and tool box talks

  • Previous experience in steel rolling mill is considered an asset
  • Previous experience supervising others in a heavy industrial setting
  • Commitment to high standards of safety is imperative
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Communication and teamwork skills
  • Willing to work rotating (4 on) 12 hour day and night shifts in 24/7 facility
