You will execute technical enhancements, remediate security and control findings, and integrate web services within a financial services environment. Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
Technical Execution & Requirements
- Requirements Analysis: Elicit and document detailed technical requirements from stakeholders and drive them through to end-to-end execution.
- Hands-on Security Testing: Conduct technical testing of security technologies, including Single Sign-On (SAML/OIDC) and Identity Access Management (IAM) protocols (Role attestation, Segregation of Duties).
- Asset Maintenance: Assist the technical owner for assigned assets; collaborate with vendors and technical teams to mitigate risks and close audit findings.
Delivery & Quality Assurance
- Project Lifecycle: Support the delivery of risk remediation initiatives, ensuring features and enhancements meet quality standards and timelines.
- QA Collaboration: Work closely with QA teams to develop testing protocols that ensure system reliability, performance, and compliance with industry standards.
- Interact with governance and control groups, (e.g. regulatory and operational risk, compliance and audit) to provide subject matter expertise and consult on risk issues / items relating to Engineering technology and tools
- Support teams to deliver solutions in assigned functional area, meet SLA's, Interface with IT, finance, audit, business unit management and other areas of TD to ensure integrated processes, efficient introduction of new technologies, retirement of obsolete technologies and support for business-led initiatives requiring the capabilities of the Engineering function
Stakeholder & Risk Management
- Communication: Serve as a primary technical point of contact for specific initiatives, providing clear progress updates to stakeholders.
- Compliance & Audit: Interact with governance groups (Regulatory, Risk, and Audit) to provide subject matter expertise on engineering tools and risk issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify process or product improvements to keep platforms robust and current with emerging industry trends.
Team & Culture
- Knowledge Sharing: Foster a culture of learning by sharing technical expertise and documentation with peers and cross-functional teams.
- Self-Development: Proactively seek feedback and stay current with emerging technologies in the financial and cybersecurity sectors.
Experience
- Experience: 3-7 years of relevant experience working with technical specifications, systems integration, and cybersecurity configurations.
Technical Skills:
- Proven proficiency in web service integration (APIs, REST/SOAP).
- Strong understanding of Cybersecurity principles and IAM frameworks.
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and CI/CD practices.
Industry Context: Experience delivering technical solutions within the financial or insurance industry (familiarity with regulatory requirements is a plus).
- Project Coordination: Demonstrated experience working effectively within an Agile delivery environment.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical data and make informed recommendations.
- Communication: Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
Education & Certifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory): CompTIA Security+, CISSP , CISA , Cloud/DevOps certifications.
