Job Description:
The Enterprise Digital strategy team is part of the Digital Strategy Innovation and Enterprise Payments team. The EDS mandate is to help future proof the bank, by driving Digital Leadership, defined across three domains: Customer Centricity, Operational Excellence and Culture across the enterprise.
This role reports to the VP, Enterprise Digital Strategy who is responsible for overseeing a team of Digital strategy professionals to advance TD's Enterprise Digital maturity.
As Senior Manager you will act as the market intelligence lead supporting TD's enterprise digital strategy by identifying, synthesizing, and reporting on global trends, benchmarks, and opportunities that shape the future of banking. This role enables TD to make forward-looking, data-driven decisions, drive award recognition, and track TD's positioning against the Digital Leadership Framework. - Industry Insights and Benchmarking: Demonstrate Digital thought leadership to develop recommendations to advance our digital journey. Identify critical digital trends across various data sources, draw conclusions and make actionable enterprise recommendations to key stakeholders within the organization on a formal and ad hoc basis.
- Recognition: Create an award-winning culture at TD and provide positive reinforcement for TD as a leader in digital to external stakeholders. Accountable for identifying meaningful enterprise awards, determining roadmaps, support submissions and promotional opportunities with corporate partners.
- External Communications: Collaborate with corporate partners (CAPA, IR) to ensure TD is well represented and seen as an industry leader within Digital space. External stakeholder communications including but not limited to Quarterly, Annual reporting and Investor Days.
- Research Portfolio: Act as an advocate by proactively monitoring new industry research opportunities and emerging technologies (eg: Gen AI) to determine potential future fit for the organization. Relationship management with third-party Research Vendors. This function would include management of research contracts with Vendor Relations and management of the research budget.
Job Requirements
Specific Educational Requirements:

- Excellent analytical, logical, and organizational skills; a drive to understand the relationships between data and activities draw conclusions and use critical thinking to validate/verify outputs.
- Highly effective "story teller" / communicator who engages colleagues, business partners, external stakeholders, and employees
- Experience delivering written & verbal presentations of analyses & recommendations to Senior Management.
- Excellent communication with an ability to bridge the gap between business and emerging technology
- Demonstrated ability to deliver concise executive recommendations using disparate data from multiple sources.
- Significant depth of digital experience and working knowledge of emerging technologies
- Excellent relationship management skills, effectively supporting multiple complex relationships with a superior ability to make things happen using positive influence
- Expertise in working effectively in teams - requires a track record of working cross-organizationally and with multiple stakeholders at varying levels
- Robust organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Thrives under uncertainty and ambiguity under tight timelines to high profile audiences
- Familiarity with third-party research (Forrester, JD Powers etc), prior Management Consulting, and Investor Relations experience would be an asset
- 10+ years of experience in the financial services or related technology industries.
