The Opportunity

Your Impact Starts Here - Support one of Canada's most impactful environmental programs as an Environmental Project Coordinator within our Remediation Program Management (RPM), Downstream team. You will play a meaningful role in advancing complex, high-profile national remediation work that contributes directly to healthier environments and resilient communities.

As part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you'll help deliver technical excellence, innovative approaches, and data-driven solutions for clients across Canada.

Your Impact
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, technical leaders, engineers, and technicians to coordinate all phases of environmental site assessment and remediation projects.
  • Support environmental due diligence by coordinating ESAs, remediation activities, and monitoring programs.
  • Facilitate clear communication and coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and other external stakeholders.
  • Prepare high-quality deliverables, including data collection, interpretation, technical reporting, and permitting support.
  • Conduct occasional fieldwork such as soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring, field testing, and remediation oversight.
  • Contribute to technical proposals, service offerings, and scopes of work.
  • Ensure compliance with WSP's health, safety, and quality management systems.
  • Support budget tracking and help deliver projects on time and on target.
  • Participate in designing, evaluating, or operating remediation technologies.
  • Assist in applied research, digital innovation, and data-management enhancements across contaminated sites projects.

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • A diploma or degree in engineering, geology, or an environmental discipline.
  • Knowledge of provincial environmental regulations and industry best practices.
  • Field experience in contaminated site assessments, soil and groundwater sampling, and environmental monitoring.
  • Strong judgment, adaptability, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Comfort working collaboratively with multi-office and multi-disciplinary teams across Canada.
  • A high level of accountability, organization, and autonomy.
  • Clear written communication skills in English.
  • A safety-first approach supported by an understanding of health and safety protocols.
  • A valid driver's licence.
  • Experience with environmental data tools (e.g., ArcGIS, AutoCAD, OpenGround, Leapfrog) considered an asset.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YK: $69,700 - $92,300
MB & ON: $63,600 - $87,500
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $62,900 - $83,600
